NOTICE OF VIOL.ATION_
Northern States Power Company Docket No. 50-282 Docket No. 50-306 Based on the inspection conducted on October 16-20, 1978, it appears that certain of your activities were in noncompliance with h7C require-mente, as noted below. This item is a deficiency.
Section 6.5.B of the Unit 1 and 2 Technical Specifications requires that detailed written procedures, including the applicable checkoff lists and instructions, covering Radiation Control Procedures shall be pt. pared and followed.
Implementing Procedure F2, " Radiation Safety", Item 2.4, requires authorization in the form of a Radiation Work Permit (RWP) on all entries into the controlled area. RWP's are used to identify the protective requirements such as Anti-C-Clothing, Special instructions, etc. for work in the controlled area, i

Acid Transfer Pumps, an employee was observed within the controlled area without wearing protective equipment for the feet as required by RWP #0-6.
