SINCLAIR August 6, 1982 New contentions numbered 1 through 12 were filed on June.18,1982, numbers 13 and 14 were filed on July 23, 1982 and new contention, number 15, was filed on August 3, 1982. This new contention, numbered 16, is intended to add further information that should be covered that is a part of the Zack Co. nonconformance report which was the basis of contention 15 16.
In the 10 CFR report that Zack Co. filed which was signed by D1ve Calkins of Zack and prepared by Howard McGrane of Consumers Power Co., it was disclosed that 140 Travelers showed unverifed welder qual-ifications for fabrication welds. Without qualifed welders for this large number of welds, the necessary guarantee for the protection of the public health and safety cannot be met as required by 10 CFR 50.57(1),
50 57(2) and 50 57(3).
