EXEMPTION TO 10 CFR 0.735-21 i

You have reported that, as a former employee of TVA, you have a vested interest in its pension plan.- In order to allow you to work on matters j
involving TVA, an exemption from the provisions of 10 CFR 0.735-21 must be-granted.
1 A review of the terms of'the TVA pension plan by the Office of the General 1
Counsel (OGC) has revealed that, as an NRC employee, you cannot influence the amount you receive as a pension from TVA.
Based on this finding, I have l
determined that your interest in-the TVA pension plan is not so substantial-as to be deemed likely to affect the: integrity of your services to the NRC and,
-i that no provision of. law and-no NRC regulation would appear to be violated by l
your participation in matters affecting TVA.
Therefore, after cuerdination '.ith OGC, you are hereby granted an exemption of the requirements of 10 CFR u.735-21 and you may participate in. matters before the NRC affecting TVA.
