Salmon Street Portland, Oregon 97204 Docket No. 50-344 License No. NPF-1 NOTICE OF VOLATION Based on the results of NRC inspections conducted on October 2-31,1978, it appears that one of your activities was not conducted in full com-pliance with the conditions of your NRC Facility License No. NPF-1 as indicated below. This item is an infraction.
Technical Specifications Nos. 4.1.2.1 and 4.1.2.2 require the periodic cycling of testable power operated or automatic valves in the boration flow paths on a weekly basis corresponding to the applicable mode of operation.
Contrary to the above, power operated valves Nos.112D and ll2E in the boration flow path from the refueling water storage tank to the charging pump suction have been tested on a monthly basis rather than at the prescribed weekly frequency.
