Enclosed are ten (10) copies of the Indian Point Unit No. 3 Nuclear Power Plant " Inservice Inspection NIS-1 Data Report and Summary" resulting from the summer 1978

refueling outage.

w.iducted in accordance with the ASME Boiler and Pressure l
Vessel Code Section XI, 1970 edition and the Plant Technical Speci fi ca tion.
However, one weld on the Pressurizer, (Weld L-1)
I was inspected in accordance with Sect XI, 1974 edition S75 l
addenda as approved by NRC in Technical Specification Amend-ment No. 16.
I Also, included in the summary report, are the results of the Steam Generator Channel Head visual and ultrasonic j

inspection as required by the Plant Technical Specifications.
Remova) of Reactor Surveillance capsule "T" was also accomplished during this outage and specimen testing is now being conducted.
