A violation of the T.nviroicstntal T chnical Specification 2.1.b.1 occurred between 0935 and 1205 hours0.0139 days <br />0.335 hours <br />0.00199 weeks <br />4.585025e-4 months <br /> of December 4 l'J78 as the station River NaLer al exceeded + 120r. by 20F.

s It is noted that the 'ntI-II Environ:nental Technical Specilication 3.1.1.a.(1) l use also violat.*d by 20F. during this period but since the reporting raquirenents of the TMI-I Technical Specifications (IS 5.6.2.3) are more l irai t i n;;, this notification and anhe-cuent written report shall also satisfy the TMI-II reporting raquire-ant (r.75 5.6.7.b).

Ahope conditions of low inlet tenpereture and high or.bient t etsperatur e and high reistive hursidity resulted in the inability of the !!cchanical Draf t Ccoling Towers (MDCT) to adequately cool the discharge water.

The MDCT fans and punpc had been accured carlier since they ocgan adding heat to the river water rather than cooling it.
