This refers to your revised consolidated application dated July 8,1982, for renewal of Certificate of Compliance No. 9074 for the fiodel No. AP-100 packaging.
Your revised consolidated application has not addressed all the areas identified in the enclosure to our letter of April 30, 1982. The specific items which have not been adequately addressed are:
1.g, l.h, 4 and 5 of the enclosure. Also, the subjects of acceptance testing and a naintenance prograe have not been adequately addressed. The maintenance progran, sections 2.b and 2.c, appear to be discussing the same test for the same component and it is not clear how pressure testing of the assembled package is accomplished since there is no access to the assembled containment vessel. Further, the maintenance procedure should discuss the frequency of inspection and replacenent of the closure seals.
The infomation requested should be submitted within 30 days from the date of this letter. Failure to provide the additional infomation within the specified period will be considered sufficient grounds to deny the application for renewal (10 CFR 52.108). The inforration requested by this letter should be submitted in the fom of revised pages.
