I have received a copy of a letter sent to you by Mr.
Pieper of Brown & Root under date of July 21, 1982.
HL&P believes that many Of the statements in Mr. Pieper's letter are inaccurate.
The matters addressed by Mr. Pieper are the subject matter of the litigation currently pending and being actively processed in the District Court of Matagorda County, and we believe they are not material to any issue before the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board.
We therefore plan no response to Mr. Pieper's letter in this docket.
