Dear Mr. Collins:
River Bend Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-458 Interim Report /DR-63 On June 29, 1982, Gulf States Utilities Company (GSU) notified your office of a condition potentially reportable under 10CFR50.55(e) concerning Velan Engineering LTD supplied valve studs material not recognized for use under ASME Section III. GSU has not completed its investigation at this time.
An interim or final status report will be provided by September 9, 1982.
