I UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION YlRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY DOCKET NOS.30-280 AND 50-281 NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENTS 70 FACILITY OPERATING LICENSES The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Connission (the Connission) has issued Amendment No.147 to Facility Operating License No. DRP-32 and Amendment No. 143 to Facility Operating License No. DRP-37, issued to'the Virginia Electric and i.
Power Company (the licensee), which revised the Technical Specifications for operation of the Surry Plant, Units.1 and 2 (the facilities), located in Surry County, Virginia. The amendments were effective as of the date of issuance,.to be implemented within 30' days.
The amendments revised the Technical Specifications for the heatup and cooldown curves to be effective to 15 effective full power years of operation.
The' application for amendments complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, is amended. (the Act), and the Cosmission's rules and regulations. The Cosmission has made appropriate findings as requirr;d-by the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations'in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendments.
Notice of Consideration of_ Issuance of Amendments and Opportunity for Hearing in connection with this action was published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on.
April 13,1988 (53 FR 12210).
