SUBJECT:
GENERAL INFORMATION ITEMS APPLICABLE TO THE TECHNICAL REVIEWERS ASSIGNED TO THE HAVEN NUCLEAR PLANT Effective 09/28/78, the Haven Nuclear Plant safety review was reassigned from Robert Stright to me.
Wisconsin Electric Power Company has sent a letter to the NRC stating that they will amend their application for a construction permit to build a single unit nuclear power plant at the Haven site.
I anticipate that the amencment when received will cause only minor readjustments in your review.
Based on the schedule by which we have been conducting the review up to this time, I have submitted all Round One Questions to the applicant with the exception of the Structural Engineering Branch.
For your information, the following is a summary of the major milestones in the review:
Applicant's Response to Q-l's 11/09/78 Formal Staff Positions to LPM 01/19/79 Applicant's Response to FSP 03/23/79 SER input to LPM 05/18/79 SER issued 08/01/79 Since the Haven plant is a replicate of the Koshkonong plant, all questions to the applicant have used the old numbering system for continuity. Enclosure 1

is a cross-reference list which shows the old and new numbering system. You will need this cross-reference when the applicant's responses are received.
In addition, Enclosure 2 is a copy of the Round One Questions, applicable to your branch, which have been transmitted to the applicant.
