4 Before proceeding with the topic scheduled for 5 this af ternoon, the Commission will address briefly 6 another itam of business, that is the affirmation of an 7 order in the proceeding of the Clinch River Breeder 8 Reactor.

9 Before moving to that item,.I would like to 10 ask the Commissioners to vote to hold a meeting on short 11 notice.

12 COMMISSIONER AHEARNE: Aye.

13 COMMISSIONER ROBERTSa Aye.

14 COMMISSIONER GILINSKYs Aye.

16 I will now turn the meeting over to the 17 Secre ta ry to go through the item of business.

18 MR. CHILK The order before the Commission is 19 in the matter of the United Ststes Department of Energy, 20 Project Management Corporation, Tennnessee Valley 21 Authority, the Clinch River Breeder Reactor Plant, 22 Docket No. 50537.

23 The order before the Commission at least would 24 direct the Department of Ener77 for itself and on behalf

('], 1 petition f or investigation which has been filed by NRDC 2 on the Sierra Club, the response to be provided to the 3 Commission by the close of business Wednesday, July (sI 4 28th, 1982.

5 The order which we are asking to be affirmed 6 is the one which the General Counsel distributed earlier 7 today, with the exception of the change in the date of 8 the response from Monday to Wednesday.

9 My understanding is that the Chairman, 10 Commissioner Ahearne, Commissioner Roberts and 11 Commissioner Asselstine, who is not here, have voted for 12 the order. Commissioner Gilinsky I think is voting for 13 the order here. -

15 COMMISSIONER AHEARNE: Is that the only change?

16 MR. CHILK: That is the only change.
