W p-' We very much appreciate the help and information which you have given to us thus far about Santee-Cooper with regard to the NRC's operating license antitrust review for the Virgil Summer Nuclear Plant.
In Mr. Mescher's reply of August 7,1978 to Mr. Pat Allen of Central, he states: "We would offer no objection, in fact would wel-come, your becoming a part owner of the Summer Plant if the legal and contractual problems presented thereby are resolved to the mutual satisfaction of the participants."
Would you kindly inform us as to the dates and substance of any further discussions, correspondence, or other communications between Central and Santee-Cooper on the Summer ownership issue? In addition, are any .*uture meetings or communications going to be held or made and, if so, when?
