General-The references made to Appendix E of Part 71 in several places of e the Quality Assurance (QA) program description should be changed to Subpart H of Part 71. Paragraph 8.2.2 " Receiving-Inspection" would be more appropriately addressed'in Section 7, " Control of Purchased Material, Equipment and Services." Paragraph'8.2.4, " Control of Nonconforming Items" would be more appropriately addressed in Section 15. " Control of Nonconforming items. Organization Expand paragraph 1.2.1.1.d to identify the minimum experience required, including that which is to be nuclear related, for the -position-of Quality Assurance Supervisor. QA Program Identify the' industrial standard or company requirement applicable to certification and recertification of lead auditors. Also identify the person or-position responsible for validating the-qualifications of the lead = auditor. Describe the minimum qualifications required for personnel performing Test and Inspection and NDE. Test Control-Describe the in-service program for maintenance of shipping containers. Handling, Storage, shipping include a statement that shipping packages will be periodically inspected to detect damage or deterioration and to verify item identification.
- 2 Nonconforming Material Parts and Services Include a-statement that nonconformances will be evaluated to determine Part 21 reportability, and will be dispositioned and closed,out in accordance with written procedures.
