tQUALITY_ ASSURANCE PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION In response to your September 11, 1990, memorandum requesting information regarding the Division of. Low-Level Waste Management and Deconsnissioning (LLWM) procedures for assuring the quality of our work, I have attached a copy of the a

LLWM's Quality Assurance Plan.

In addition, the Division has initiated develop--

ment of the necessary procedures to ensure proper implementation of' the QA Plan.

'The'first step in~ development of detailed implementing procedures is to identify those activities affected.

It is anticipated that the Division will have~a list:

identifying all of the activities that require detailed procedures completed by December 1990 and that the development of the follow-up detailed procedures 4

should.be coupleted by Decen6er 1991.
