Modification No. 7 Page 2 The purpose of this modification is to: (1). revise Sectior. B to include Description of Work for FY 1991, (2). exericse one 12-month option,-(3) increase the contract ceiling amount by $27,825.00 from $135,309.60 to

$163,134.60, and (4) insert FAR Clause 52.232.18,." Availability of Funds."

Accordingly, the contract is modified as_follows:

The contractor shall provide, in accordance with applicable tariff (s) loca) tariffed and long distance telephone services including i

installations, removals, maintenance and moves of telephones and other associated equipment in support of NRC's Emergency Notification System and Health Physics Network at the locations listed below and provide circuitry in support of on going NRC sponsored research projects at selected universities. The service locations / requirements may not be complete; however, as additional requirements and services become l

.known, the WRC Project Manager (s) will make these requests known to the Southern Bell Telephone Project Manager in the form of a written request and the contract will be modified accordingly.-

Under Section F - Deliveries and Performance, Subsection F.1,.

Duration of Contract Period is revised to read as follows:-

" F.1 Duration of Contract Period

-The period of performance.for this contract shall commence on October 1, 1986 and end on September 30, 1991."

.Under Section B, Subsection B.3 Considerat'fon and Obligation, the-first sentence is revised to.reau as follows:

"The present estimate for performance the work under this contract is

$163,134.60."

NOTE:

The obligated amount will be increased by $2/,820.00 subject to the availability of FY 1991 funding, in accordance with the " Availability of.

Funds" clause-4.

Under Section I, Contract Clauses, insert the following FAR Clause l

52.232-18:

"!.1 Availability of Funds (APR 1984) f Funds.. e not presently available for this contract.

The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes.can be mado.
