I On November 4,1993, the Connission published in the Federal Reaister (58 FR 58804 to 58807) proposed amendments to 10 CFR Part 73 that would modify the design basis threat for radiological sabotage to include ute of a land i

vehicle by adversaries. The Federal Reaister notice refers to a draft regulatory guide prepared by the staff that contains preliminary information for licensees on initial assessments of protective measures against vehicle j

intrusions and approaches to assess whether the Commission's design goals and I

criteria are met by measures taken to protect against vehicle intrusion. The Commission's Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research is in the process of i

publishing this proposed guide.
