BACKGROUND' NRC will conduct an' inspection of the vendor's program for providing snubbers l

to nuclear power plants and will specifically review the areas of quality assurance-(QA), procurement ~andequipmentqualification.

OBJECTIVE The objective of this Task Order is to~obtain technical expertise from Parameter, Inc. to assist the staff-in conducting a review and evaluation of

'./Dl's activities and programs.

WORK REQUIREMENTS Parameter, Inc. will provide one specialist with background and knowledge-in shock suppressor (snubber) qualification, design, testing, and repair with considerable experience in 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix B QA inspection 4

techniques to perform the work outlined below,

TECHNICAL REPORTING REQUIREMENTS 1.

At the completion of Task 2., provide summary notes of observations and findings pertinent to the inspection to the Lead Inspector. Provide a-summary of the cork performed in the Monthly Business Letter Report.

2.

At the completion of Task 3., submit a Technical Letter Report to-the Project Officer with a copy provided to the Lead Inspector and to the Contract Administrator that contains a suninary of the work performed, including observations, and findings in the areas inspected and any pertinent conclusions pertaining to the inspection activities conducted.
