The Models 20V are constructed from aluminum (melting point of

2020 F), stainless steel (melting point of 25000F))and uranium (melting point of 33000F). Therefore, the temperature conditions of -400C to 700C will have no adverse affect on the package's structural integrity or the shielding efficiency.

These, devices have been used under conditions of routine transpor-tation. During this time these packages have demonstrated that they are able to withstand the effectc of any acceleration, vibration or vibration resonance that may arise during transportation with-

The source assembly is locked in the stored position for' transport.
