t BACAGEQRED Arkansas Powcr and Light, the 11conoce for Arkansas Nuclear One (ANO), has'.rocently made a number of changes -that impact the management, operation, and mainterance of ANO.

These changes include the infusion ' of new personnel into the organization, organizational restructuring, and the

. development _

.and implementation of new programs.

In~1ight of the changes that hav.e been made or are in process at ANO, NRC Region IV has decided to

- conduct an: Operational Saf ety' Team Inspection (OSTI) at ANO.to

- verify that the plantLis iseing operated safely and in conformance with regulatory requireuents. The OSTI will be conducted using the guidelines ~ delineated in Inspection procedure 93802, " Operational Safety Team Inspection," dated-November 27, 1989.

OBJECTIVE The' objective of this task order is to obtain specialized technical expertise in nuclear ' power plant operations and - maintenance to assist an'NRC inspection team'in the performance of the subject inspecthn.

WORK B.ROUIREMENTS AND SCHEDULE

At the completion of Tank 3 (prior to the inspection. team's exit meeting.with the licenseo),

the contractor upccialists shall-provide 'a draft inspection report input as specified in Sections F. 3 ;1(c) and ' F.3.1(d) of the basic contract.

At the completion of Task 4, the contractor shecialists shall submit a final inspection report input in accordance with sections F.3.l(c) and F.3. l(d) of the banic contract.

All technical reporto shall be delivered in accordance with Sections F.3.1(e) and F.3.1(f) of the basic contract.
