Dear Sir,
I urge the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to approve construction and operation of the Claiborne Enrichment Center, located in Homer, Louisiana (Docket No. 70-3070). As a former resident of Claiborne Parish and a person presently employed in the radiation protection field, I feel that the plant will benefit the area substar, tially and will not cause harm to any residents. I have resiewed portions of the submittal document and the drafl emironmental impact statement (NUREG-1484). The adverse impacts from construction and operation of this facility are indeed very small. The beneficialimpacts would be large for the parish and the surrounding area.
Once again, I request that the USNRC approve construction and operation of the Claiborne Enrichment Center. -
Sincerely Yours,
/Df l*
