This letter transzits draft copies of chapters within the Standard Revi:.w Plan for the Review of a License Application for a Uranium Fuel Processing Facility" (SRP) that will be discussed at the November 8 and 9, 1993, public i
meeting sponsored by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
In response to your request to participate in these meetings, copies that pertain only to the meetings that you will be attending are in Enclosure 1.
The topics of discussion scheduled for November 8 and 9, 1993, are listed in.
This information is being distributed concurrently to those individuals who have expressed an interest in participating in the NRC's public meeting for the exchange of information between fuel cycle licensees and NRC staff relevant to the agency's development of the acceptance criteria sections within the SRP. Copies are being distributed in advance of this meeting so participants have an opportunity to become familiar with the current state of development of the subject matter prior to the meeting.
When reviewing this information, it is important to stress that these documents are preliminary and are being released at this time only to foster a meaningful exchange of information at the subject meeting. They have not yet undergone the customary NRC review process.
Please also note that the text contains certain language (e.g., "...the applicant shall") that will be reviewed and, as appropriate, be changed to the permissible regulatory language that is consistent with the requirements imposed by NRC regulations.
