I am in favor of the construction of the proposed uranium facility in Claiborne Parish.
There are so many residents of this parish in need of jobs. The only way for these people to be able to continue to live in their hometown is for new industry to relocate to our area.
The uranium enrichment facility will provide many jobs during construction, and will also attract and promote other businesses. The parish schools will also benefit from -
the added tax revenues. The potential for economic growth would be greatly i
enhanced for the entire North Louisiana region.
I look forward to the beginning of construction of this facility.
