Reactor Containment Building Integrated leak Rate Test

Dear Dr. Murley:

Pursuant to 10 CFR 50, Appendix J, Section V, Commonwealth Edison Company is transmitting the technical report for the Byron Unit 2 Reactor Containment Building Integrated Leak Rate Test conducted on September 9 and 10,1993.

The enclosed report, " Reactor Containment Building integrated Leak Rate Test, Byron Station, September 9-10, 1993", describes the performance of the Type A containment leak iate test conducted in accordance with the requirements of Appendix J. This test was conducted under Byron Procedure 2BVS 6.1.2.a-1, Revision 6, " Unit 2 Primary Containment Type A Integrated Leakage Rate Test (ILRT)" In summary, the test meet the acceptance criteria of 0.075 wt % / day.

The next Type A test for Byron Station Unit 2 is scheduicd for September,1996.
