ROUTINE RESIDENT INSPECTION REPORT
This refers to the inspection conducted by Messrs. S. G. Du Pont,

E. R. Duncan, and G. M. Nejfelt of this office on November 20, 1993, through

January 7, 1994.
The inspection included a review of activities authorized
for your Braidwood facility. At the conclusion of the inspection, the
-
findings were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the-
enclosed report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within
these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures
and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of
activities in progress.

During this inspection, certain of your activities appeared to be in violation
,
of NRC requirements.
However, as described in the enclosed inspection report,
the violation was categorized at Severity Level V and is not being cited
because the criteria specified in Section VII.B.1 of the " General Statement of
Policy and Procedures.for NRC Enforcement Action," (Enforcement Policy, 10 CFR Part 2, Appendix) were satisfied.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
this. letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC
'
Public Document Room.
