i The Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990, as amended, requires the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in each of the fiscal years 1991 through 1998 to collect fees and annual cnarges that i

approximate 100 percent of its budget authority, less the amount appropriated to the NRC from the Nuclear Waste Fund.

Public Law 102-377 appropriated $540,000,000 to the NRC - for fiscal-year 1993, of which S21,100,000 was derived from the Nuclear Waste Fund.

Approximately 98 percent ($507,072,406) of the remaining

$518,900,000 was collected through fees and annual charges.

H Therefore, the net amount appropriated to the NRC in fiscal year 1993, including appropriations from the Nuclear Waste Fund, was

$32,927,594.
