LES sponsored a tour of Oconee Nuclear Station in South Carolina in 1991.
I was a member of this group.
The plant is located near a large resort-retirement community.
We were told this resort-retirement community was built after the plant began operating.
Your office has conducted extensive research on the safety of the Claiborne Enrichment Center and your findings have been positive.
I am writing to ask that you move as quickly as possible to complete any other studies and licensing so that the citizens of my parish will'have an opportunity to seek well paying jobs.
