SECY-93-270 - PROPOSED ND ENTS TO 10 CFR PART 73 TO PROTECT AGAINST MALEVOLENT USE OF VEHICLES AT NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS The Commission (with all Commissioners agreeing) has approved publication of the notice of proposed rulemaking subject to the following comments.
The language of the last sentence of the first paragraph on page 7 of the draft Federal RecTister notice (FRN) should track the similar language in the Environmental Assessment, Enclosure 2, page 3, first full paragraph.
Additionally, the comment period should be set at 60 days due to i
the importance and complexity of this matter.
The revised FRN should be reviewed by the Rule Review and Directives Branch, ADM, and returned for signature and publication.
