SUBJECT: HRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-313/93-32; 50-368/93-32
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. R. Lantz of this office, and.
the personnel identified in the enclosed report, on December 6-17, 1993.
The
inspection included an assessment of the qualifications of 17 individuals who
had applied for licenses to operate your Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 2,
facility. At the conclusion of the inspection, findings of generic
significance were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the
enclosed report. Appropriate licenses have been issued to all 17 applicants,
who successfully completed all portions of their examinations.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within
these areas, the inspection consisted of evaluation of license applicants by
the use of written examinations, dynamic simulations,. selected job related
tasks, and oral questioning in accordance with NUREG-1021, " Operator Licensing
Examiner Standards," Revision 7.
The results of this inspection are.
documented on page 2, in the enclosed report.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of
this letter and its enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
