Inspection No. 9999-0001/93-017 This letter refers to the routine inspection of an in-transit irradiated reactor fuel shipment conducted by Messrs. G. C. Smith and R. J. Albert of this office on October 14,1993, at the Dundalk Marine Terminal, Baltimore, Maryland, and to the telephone conversation between Mr. Smith and Ms. F. Oshinowo of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection to discuss findings.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspectors.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations wem identified.
