Dear Sir or Madam:
It has come to my attention that a Draft Environmental Impact Statement was written u'p in regards to the proposed Louisiana Energy Services plant.
I am concerned, however, by the fact that amidst the statement's 400 pages, there is only one reference to the communities of Forest Grove and Center Springs.
This is disturbing considering their close proximity to the potentially hazardous LES plant.
Moreover, I find the agency's statement especially irresponsible considering the fact that these two communities are within one-half mile of the plant site.
This detail is mysteriously missing from the DEIS's 38 maps or diagrams.
The administrators in this agency have an obligation to keep in mind the well being of the people and environment of Forest Grove and Center Springs and surrounding areas.
Evidently, the NRC has not lived up to this expectation.
