Dear Sir:
l I am writing to urge the Commissioners to support the findings of the Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the construction and operation of the Claiborne Enrichment Center in Louisiana. It is clear from the conclusions of this Statement that this facility will have no adverse impact on the environment and, in fact, will substantially contribute to the enhancement of the environment all over the country by providing a domestic source of fuel for nuclear power plants. As the Comr...csioners must be aware, the rapid expansion of nuclear power in the next century is essential to reducing pollution and greenhouse gases, which, in turn, will improve the health and economic well-being of all our citizens. The Claiborne plant will play an important role in this effort.
