Washington, DC 20555
Dear Sir:
I'm writing to you as a resident of Claiborne Parish, and as p as'a Deputy Sheriff, Church.
licensing of the Claiborne Enrichment Center as.
This is based on the NRC's-' conclusion in the I urge the soon as possible.
Draft Environmental Impact Statement that the facility can be
" constructed and operated with small and acceptable' impacts on the-public and the environment."
In 1990, I had the opportunity to tour the.Oconee Nuclear one of.the-Station in South Carolina, owned by Duke Power Do.,.
I was impressed by partners in the Claiborne Enrichment Center.
the attention to detail and safety that I saw, as well as the opportunities for minorities in the supervision and management.
We look forward to having this' plant in Claiborne Parish to provide good job opportunities for residents" who. might otherwise have to leave.
I Thank you.
Sincerely, M
Willie You F
