Dear Mr. Hickey:

I wish to add my name in support of the Clairborne Enrichment Center (CEC) to be located in Northern Louisiana.

I am convinced that nuclear energy is critical to the long-term sustainability of the U.S. economy and, in fact, even more so for the remaining global community. The CEC represents the utilization of new technology which will provide long-term supplies of enriched uranium far more efficiently than current practice.

The draft Environmental Impact Statement appears to have been well done.

It l

successfully covers all the relevant concerns.

Thank you for providing leadership in an area so important to the future of our nation.

I'm confident we will one day look back and recognize the building of this plan o have been a key to appropriate technological progressi Very truly yo s Alan E.

altar, P.D.
