Dear Mr. Hickey,
l 1 have reviewed various sections of the NRC's Draft Environmental Impact Statement l
(DEIS) on the subject of the Claiborne Enrichment Center. I'm encouraging the NRC to strongly support the DEIS findings. I also recommend that the NRC proceed with the i
licensing of this important facility.
I believe this facility will have an important beneficial impact on our country's energy situation. As you know nuclear power supplies approximately 20% of our electricity. This is accomplished without any alleged greenhouse gases, and with largely i
U.S. domestic resources. Maintaining our country's diversity of energy resources is essential. This project is an appropriate action.
An excellent job of site selection has been done. The facility will create a positive I
economic impact the surroundings area. The site characteristics support such a facility well.
This is an sound energy project that is important to the U.S. energy security.
Sincerely, dVT
