Dear Sir:
I have reviewed the DEIS abstract, summary and conclusion for the subject facility.
In any energy project I give first consider-ation to the contribution of the proposed activity toward the energy independence of our nation.
In this case the construction of an enrichment plant for feedstock for power reactor fuels constitutes a most desirable addition to the infrastructure for our nuclear energy industry.
Indeed with the gaseous diffusion plants out of operation we have no equivalent capability.
With analyses reported in the EIS confirming the safety and desirability of the proposed construction and operation, I feel highly confident in urging the approval of the proposal.
