SPECIAL RADIATI0il PROTECTION INSPECTION AT CALLAWAY NUCLEAR POWER
STATION
This refers to the special radiation protection inspection conducted by
Mr. M. Kunowski, Mr. C. Cox, and Mr. N. Shah of this office on October 4-8,
1993. The inspection included a review of authorized activities for the
Callaway Nuclear Power Station. At the conclusion of the inspection, the
findings were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the

enclosed report.

The enclosed copy of the inspection report identifies areas examined during
the inspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective
examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with
,
personnel, and observation of activities in progress.
No violations were identified during the course of this inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC
Public Document Room.
