Dear Dr. Murley:
In May,1993, we compicted a rewrite to the Duane Arnold Energy Center (DA EC)
Secunty Plan. That rewrite was submitted pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(p) by Reference 1. We are now submitting changes to Appendix B (Attachment 4) and Appendix C (Attachment.5) of the DAEC Secunty Plan.
A description of the changes to Appendix B are listed in Attachment 1. A description of the -
changes to Appendix C are listed in Attachment 2. These changes have been reviewed in -
accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 5(154(p). We have concluded that the changes do not decrease the effectis eness of the Security Plan. A copy of our evaluation is attached as.
