BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN) - IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROGRAM TO SATISFY
-I 10 CFR 50, APPENDIX J (MPA A-04)
The purpose of this letter is to notify the NRC staff that BFN has im;.iemented its program which satisfies the requirements of 10 CFR 50 Appendix J -
j Primary Reactor Containment Leakage Testing for Water-Cooled Power Reactors.
l TVA requests that the Safety Issues Management System be updated to reflect the implementation of this program as of the date of this letter.
The procedure which implements the Appendix J program is Site Director.
Standard Practice 17.1, Primary Containment Leak Rate Test Requirements. This procedure is available at the Browns Ferry Site for staff review. Changes and=
improvements to this program will continue to be made to reflect plant modifications, Technical Specification Amendments, and recommendations from the NRC staff.
