- We are concemed about the Louisiana Energy Services plant proposed for Homer,LA.
We understand that in the 400-page DEIS, Forest Grove and Center Springs, two j
communities located within one half mile of the proposed site are not even shown on.
any of the 38 maps or diagrams and there is only one reference to them in the text!
This is incredible: the two communities that would be'most affected are pract'ically ;
totally ignored!; Why does the DEIS on the LES uranium enrichment plant not include evaluallon of the social and economic impact on' Center Springs and Forest Grove?
1; This means that the DEIS is totally inadequate and incom alete. The final EIS on the i
proposed LES plant must evaluate the social and econonde impact on these two nearby communities.
We await word that this unacceptable. deficiency in the _DEls wil' be remedied: that a -
full analysis of the social and economic impact on Center Springs and Forest Grove.
