Dear Mr. Hickey:
I have reviewed the Draft Environmental Impact Statement prepared.by the l
Nuclear Regulatory Commission for the' proposed gaseous centrifuge uranium enrichment facility to be built in Claiborne Parish near Homer, LA; by Louisiana Energy Services.
F' It is apparent that this facility can be constructed and operated with-
.j minimal impacts on the public and the environment. The local employment of 557 to 1140 people with multiplied earnings of about $20 million each Li year will be a welcome benefit to the local economy (and tax base)..
]
o l
I certainly support the licensing of this vital facility that will provide a U.S.
l source of much needed UF for our nuclear power industry in this country.
