Dear Mr. Chairman,

I am writing you because you are an official in the position to make a positive decision and help protect the people of Forest Grove and Center Springs from having an unwanted, i

unnecessary, and dangerous uranium enrichment facility located within their communities.

I am sure you are well aware the local communities of Forest Grove and Center Springs are adamantly opposed to having the Louisiana Energy Services (LES) uranium enrichment plant located in their backyard. These two communities are almost excluded from the recent 400-page Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) produced by the Nuclear Regulatory -

Commission.

Is this just a coincidence that Forest Grove and Center Springs are small, poor, black communities? I encourage you to take a closer look at this issue of environmental racism and put a stop to any injustice.
