Dear Mr. Hickey:
.i I am writing to you today to urge your'and the NRC's support for the construction and operation of the Claiborne Enrichment Center (CEC) to be located within the Claiborne Parish in Northern Louisiana.
I believe that the NRC should accept and support the
[
of the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) and findings should complete the-licensing process as efficiently as possible.
I believe that the CEC Project is essential to the nuclear-industry, not only because it will safely and more: economically but because of the provide fuel for the nations power generators, job opportunities it will provide.
We need to do what we'can to We need to provide technically challenging jobs for_our citizens.
continue inducing students into the science and engineering fields.
I believe that the CEC Project will demonstrate our _ nations commitment to high tech jobs at home.
We should be thinking of ho'w to develop and export marketable products abroad and ~ the CEC Project is a step in that direction.
Your support is truly appreciated.
T Respectfully, hn Ha i
