Dear Mr. Hickey:
I have read the abstract of the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for-the construction and operation of a gaseous centrifuge facility in Claiborne Parish, LA. I support the construction and operation of this plant. I believe that it is important for the United States to maintain the capability to enrich uranium and that this is the technology of the future. The DEIS adequately addresses the safety and environmental questions associated with operation of the facility and provides the basis to go ahead.
