The purpose of this modification is to:
(1)incorporatethecontractor's technical proposal dated May 26,1993,(2) revise the Statement of Work to provide for a within scope change as described below, (3) increase the l
e ntract ceiling amount by $62,206.00 from $3,335,219.16 to $3,397,425.16 and l
(4) increase the contract obligated amount by $51,200.00 from $3,335,219.16 to
$3,386,419.16. Therefore, the contract is modified as follows:
1.
Paragraph B.2, " Consideration and Obligation," subparagraphs a and c, j
are deleted in its entirety and the following paragraphs are substituted in lieu thereof:
"a.
It is estimated that the total cost to the Government for full performance of this contract will be $3,397,425.16, of which i
the sum of $3,181,923.16 represents the estimated reimbursable costs, and of which $215,502.00 represents the fixed fee."
"c.
The amount presently obligated by the Government with respect to this contract is $3,386,419.16.
2.
Modify Section C.I.4.2.2 of the contract by adding the following:
" DELETE the TS05 tape drives which are currently. installed."
" Procure and install a hard disk and a catridge tape storage unit with appropriate network interface hardware. These devices will be configured to be shared between the two HICROWAX 3600 computers recently installed. The disk drive will be used to supplement the RA82 disk drive. The cartridge tape drive will replace the currently installed T505, 9 track tape drives. These c.hanges must result in a system configuration which would not result in a system design which could cause a loss of the core functions of ERDS (data reception, storage, display, and retransmission) due to the loss of a single component.
4 Updgrade the currently installed VMS operating system from version 5.0 to version 5.5.
Upgrade the ERDS software to reflect the above updating of the operating system and to accommodate the changed hardware configuration.
Upgrade the system maintenance coverage to include the new components.
All of the above changes shall be accomplished in such a manner that the ERDS systems remains available to perform all required tasks to the maximum extent practicable. All system downtime must be coordinated through the NRC Project Officer."
