Dear Sir:
The NRC found the Authority response to the station blackout (SBO) rule to be acceptable in Reference 1. The NRC staff requested notification upon completion of the program upgrades detailed in Authority responses to the SBO rule. The Authority provided completion information on the upgraded battery capacity calculations and SBO procedure in Reference 2.
The Authority also stated in Reference 2 that an EDG reliability program conforming to the guidance of NUMARC 87-00, and Regulatory Guide 1.155, would be implemented by September 30,1993. The EDG reliability program upgrade, (Reference 3) has been implemented by Technical Services Department i
