SUBJECT: INSPECTION REPORT NUMBER 50-443/93-18
This refers to the safety inspection of fire protection activities conducted by Mr. A. Finkel of
this office from September 27 through October 1,1993, at the Seabrook Station Unit No.1,
Seabrook, New Hampshire, of activities authorized by NRC License No. NPF-86 and to the
discussions of our findings held by Mr. A. Finkel with Mr. W. DiProfio and other members
of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region 1 Inspection Report,
which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective
examinations of procedures and records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the
inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no issues affecting public health and safety, nor any
violations of NRC requirements were observed.
No reply to this letter is required. Your cooperation with us in this matter is appreciated.
