VIRGINIA ELECTRIC - AND POWER COMPANY NORTH ANNA POWER STATION UNITS 1 and 2 REQUEST TO CHANGE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS 7
Pursuant to'10 CFR 50.90,L Virginia Electric and Power Company requests an amendment 'in the form.~of changes to Technical Specification 6.3 " Facility Staff Qualifications" of Operating License Nos. NPF-4 and NPF-7 for North Anna Power j
Station; Units 1. and 2,. respectively. These changes provide for and document y
exceptions to ANS 3.1-(12/79 Draft) in _the North Anna station staff organization and i'
j qualification requirements regarding the position of Operations Manager as described
.in the standard.
In addition,-changes are proposed to Technical Specifications 6.2 and 6.4 to revise the '
title of the " Nuclear Safety Engineering" group to "Stati]n Nuclear Safety." This is only
- an administrative change to reflect a change in the title of the group.
Tne proposed changes (in the current Technical Specification format) are provided in and in the MERITS TS format in Attachment 2. A discussion of the.
proposed changes is provided in Attachment 3.
t This request has been reviewed and approved by the Station Nuclear Safety and
' Operating' Committee and the Management Safety Review Committee. It has been determined-that the proposed changes do not involve an unreviewed safety question o
