copies of the following documents relating to the November 17, 1992 release of nitrogen dioxide at Sequoyah Fuels i

Corporation.

Any and all notes, correspondence, reviews and other

documents which discuss the off-site response to the I

November 17, 1992 accident.

It is my understandino from telephone conversations wich L.L. Kasner, Health Physicist, Region IV that the majority-of these notes have been retrieved from staff files and are available for release.

Please note that I am still avaiting response to FOIA request 93-95 regarding health effects of the November 17 accident.

This request was received on February 17, 1993.

Pursuant to NRC regulations at 10 C.F.R. 99.85, I request that any searching and copying fees incurred as a result of this search be vaived.

Native Americans for a Clean Environment is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that was formed for the purpose of educating the public about environmental issues, with emphasis on the nuclear industry.

NACE intends to use the information requested in this FOIA request to continue our independent review of response to i

the November 17 accident.

Said review will be shared with community residents affected by the operations of Sequoyah i

Fuels through various publications 6nd community meetings.
