COMME NTS The only record NRC has been able to locate that is subject to your request is listed on Appendix A and is enclosed.
In your telephone conversations with Ms. Carol Ann Reed of my staff on May 5 and 13,1993, you requested a copy of the Freedom of Information Act (copy enclosed) and stated that you had spoken and/or corresponded with Mr. Hans Schechter in 1985 or 1986 concerning the Gundremmingen reactor. Ms. Reed spoke w;th Mr. Schechter and he informed her that although he had a copy of the BMI report and cable at the time he corresponded with you-in 1985 or 1986, that when his office was relocated to another-building in 1988 he purged his files and no longer has copies of the information you are requesting or his correspondence with you.
You may wish to contact Mr.
